VP Stay Frosty Race Ready Coolant: Glycol-Free Racing Coolant for High-Heat Engines
VP Stay Frosty Race Ready is a 100% water-based, glycol-free racing coolant built for high-compression, high-heat competition engines. It reduces engine temperatures by up to 30°F and up to 80°F at the cylinder heads compared to conventional glycol-based coolants. It is ready to use straight from the container, track-approved at facilities that prohibit glycol, and formulated with the only three-wetting-agent system available in any racing coolant.
Why three wetting agents matter
Most racing coolants use a single surfactant. Stay Frosty Race Ready uses three, each operating at a different cloud point: low, middle, and high. That layered approach means the coolant maintains effective heat transfer across a wider temperature range. When engine temps spike past where a single-agent coolant stops working, Stay Frosty keeps pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.
The result is stable, advanced ignition timing without detonation risk, which is where the power gain comes from. Cooler cylinder heads mean denser air-fuel mix, more timing, and more torque.
Why glycol-free matters on track
Glycol is slippery. A coolant leak at speed creates a serious hazard for every other competitor on track. Most sanctioned racing organizations prohibit glycol-based coolants for this reason. Stay Frosty contains no glycol and is approved for use at drag strips, road courses, oval tracks, and off-road events where glycol is banned.
How to use it
Before using Stay Frosty for the first time, flush your cooling system with VP Frosty Clean Cooling System Flush to remove any glycol residue and optimize heat transfer performance. Then pour Stay Frosty Race Ready directly into the system. No mixing required.

A: Orders are processed within one business day of placement. Standard domestic shipping generally ships within 7-10 business days for stock items. Please note that custom items do generally take longer for production and is noted on the product pages. Additionally, due to the ongoing logistics and supply chain challenges, some items do occasionally go on backorder due to unexpected delays relative to receiving and processing.
